Dawn Jett is a well-grounded Human Resource professional who is committed to meeting employees at their level of needs. She also takes pleasure in helping others to do the same. Dawn joined Boys & Girls Village in 2020 as the Human Resource Manager. Later in 2024, she was promoted to Director of Human Resources. Dawn has over 25 years of substantial HR experience working mainly in the non-profit sector. 

Dawn earned her bachelor’s degree, Summa cum laude in Professional Studies with a concentration in Human Resource Administration from the University of Bridgeport. She is also a member of the Society of Human Resource Management.

Dawn worked for the Connecticut Renaissance for 19.5 years before joining BGV. She brings a wide variety of HR experience that covers Human Resource Management, Strategic Planning, Training & Development, Benefits Administration, Payroll, Employee Labor Relations, Performance Management, and Recruitment.

Dawn is a committed member of her church and enjoys the worship and teaching experiences they offer domestically and internationally. She serves as the Vice President of the Senior Choir, Assistant Secretary/Treasurer of the Worship Ministry, and a standing member of the Women’s Fellowship Committee. Dawn’s pastime is her love for baseball, embracing time to travel, and nurturing relationships with family and friends.
